01/Signal
Hi — I'm Munodiwa.
I turn ideas into products that work.
I'm an app developer in Berlin, working on my own. If you have an idea, I'll sit with you, work out the logic behind it, design it, and build it — one person, start to finish. You'll always be talking to me.
Logic
The rules, before the screens.
02/Most recent project
ChauffHer. A ride-hailing app I designed, reasoned out and built.
A ride-hailing app where every driver is a verified woman, and riders and drivers agree the fare between themselves instead of a surge algorithm. I built it so women in Harare could earn safely at night — and so women riders could get home without wondering who was driving.
2026 · Product from scratch — Product · Interface · Build
I started with the rules, not the screens: what a fare is allowed to be, what happens when a driver counters, what happens when a woman presses SOS mid-trip. Then I designed every screen around those rules and built it. The empowerment isn't a tagline here — it's in the verification flow, the fare floor and the silent SOS.
- Every driver on the platform is a verified woman
- National ID, police clearance and a live selfie before trip one
- Silent SOS — no sound, no banner, live location to her contacts
- $3 minimum fare, so her time is never bid below cost
- 150% server-side cap on any counter-offer
- 20% platform fee — 0% when a rider is refunded

03/How I work
The interface is what you see. The logic is what I lose sleep over.
I take care of both — the part your users touch, and the rules quietly holding it together.
- 01
I work out the logic first
Rules · Data · Failure states
Before I draw a screen I decide how the thing behaves — pricing rules, data structure, what happens when something breaks. On ChauffHer I put the $3 floor and the 150% ceiling on the server, so no one can talk their way around them.
- 02
I design it myself
Type · Rhythm · Restraint
No template with your logo dropped in. ChauffHer is every screen on one type scale and one colour system, drawn by me, so it feels like one product rather than a pile of features.
- 03
I build it and ship it
Build · Payments · Verification
Stripe and EcoCash both went in. When paid identity checks didn't fit your kind of budget, I re-scoped verification to a $0 manual-review flow with 3 retries — I'd rather protect your money than the plan.
- 04
I leave you something you can grow
Schema · Architecture · Phases
The schema and architecture are meant to outlast the demo. I cut ChauffHer into 5 phases before writing code, so you can stop, think, or keep going without throwing work away.
Interfaces, rhythm and interaction that make your product feel obvious to use.
Logic, data and rules that keep it correct on the day it's busy.

04/About me
One person, from your first idea to a working app.
I'm Munodiwa. I like problems that have real rules inside them, and I like handing back something that works — not a deck about it.

Berlin
I work alone on purpose. It means the person who understands your pricing rules is the same person drawing your screens and writing the code — nothing gets lost being handed around.
In practice that looks like a lot of questions early on, honest answers about what your budget actually buys, and then steady progress you can see. If something won't work, I'll tell you before you pay for it.
05/Working together
A build like yours usually starts at $4,500 USD
That's the same pipeline that produced ChauffHer above. Your scope decides the real number — tell me the idea and I'll be straight with you about it.

06/Say hello
Tell me about your idea.
Rough, half-formed, scribbled on a napkin — that's fine. Write me a few lines and I'll come back to you personally, within a day.
One email is enough to start. Tell me what you want to build, who it's for, and what's in the way — I'll reply with honest questions and what I think it takes.
- No form, no funnel — it comes straight to my inbox
- You'll hear from me, not an assistant
- A reply within 24 hours, Berlin time
